The children and teachers of St. Mark's Lutheran Preschool had a wonderful Easter and spring break. We are returning to school excited about all of the signs of spring that are all around us. God's world is surely a wondrous place. The four and five year old children are beginning to look forward to entering kindergarten in August. The teachers continue to prepare the children for the transition. We work daily on gross and fine motor skills ranging from hopping and skipping to gripping a pencil correctly. The children are learning their addresses and telephone numbers. Everyday we explore the alphabet and numbers. Most importantly there is time each day for the boys and girls to develop their imaginations through free play and art and to grow socially with their friends and teachers. Thanks to our church for providing a place for preschoolers to grow in God's way. Betsy Roseman |
